Open Your Heart to Haiti also provides a way for you to sponsor the children of Port-de-Paix directly. Pledging your support of one or more children can open the door to these precious young Haitians to a better future. The love of Christ is shared in everything you do.
1. PROVIDE MONTHLY SUPPORT
Your support of $10.00 a month will give your child a Christian education, food and a meal a day.
2. WRITE TO YOUR CHILD
You can communicate love and concern for your child by writing letters, sending cards and sharing photos. Send all correspondence to the US office with your child's name and number on the outside of the envelope. Missionaries in Haiti will translate your letter.
3. PRAY FOR YOUR CHILD
Your child is needy. Your prayers for his or her health, education and spiritual development are very important. Your child will also pray for you.
4. PROVIDE A GIFT FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS
You can send cash or a gift to your child for Christmas and birthdays. Send your gift along with your monthly support. Christmas gifts must be received by November 25th.
