WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP!

Imagine having a disease that inspired everyone in your town to force you to move outside of the city limits with no food, clothing or housing. Then compound that tragedy with the fact that you are only a child and you were born with the disease – having done nothing to bring forth the situation.

In his last missionary journey to Port-de-Paix, Pastor Constantino Donatien found that 23 children, infected with the HIV virus, have been banished by the town’s people to live in a secluded shack on the beach. The town’s population fears that the children are contagious and pose a health risk for the general population.

These children urgently need your help! Open Your Heart to Haiti is attempting to raise $5,000 in donations to erect a 60 x 60 foot building to house the children. Please donate any amount with a notation on your check of HIV Beach Children.

We are currently working with missionaries from Winterhaven, FL to educate the population as to the nature of the HIV virus. The children will be enrolled into our ministry’s schools this coming September, but we need your donation to provide permanent shelter.

September means the beginning of school at our Port-de-Paix ministry. We need uniforms for 3,000 children this year. Each donation of $8 provides a school uniform for a child. Won’t you please make a donation that will help end the cycle of poverty and despair of Haiti?
